2013 ZL1 thinking about getting a CAM
I have long tubes and a tune. Stock NPP exhaust. Are there any cons to doing a cam and what kind of gains can be expected?

No cons. I am doing a BTR stage 3 next week. For the headers and cam expect 80 to 100 rwhp. Im not adding any pullies to the mix as Im setting up a road course build. Car should drop a few pounds of boost due to improved airflow, but it also will have the benefit of cooler iat temps. If your a drag racer you can add pullies to get the boost back up and make more power.

I like to do the occasional 1-4 pull. I'd rather hit the curvy roads or a road course. Hardest part for me is finding a reputable shop around here in Oklahoma. Makes me nervous

My builder has a CTSV with 90,000 on the BTR cam. It does have to be done right with the best parts. Stick with a Cam Motion core, and the rest of the BTR set up.
Based on your location you want to take it here.... http://www.admperformance.org/ |

Thanks for the info! I will look into ADM. Tax season is right around the corner.
