I don't think there is room beside the agp unit to fit one since it's so large I just bought a flange and had a welder put it on my pipe paid 20 bucks

yea i saw that some of the pages for the ecs kit manual are out of order, no big deal about that, and like you said once you got it in it was easy after that, like most any other install. All in all you sound pretty happy with the results so i take it you vote for ecs also

hmm not a bad idea, if it would fit. i was just thinking about running one elsewhere on the charge piping or adding in a piece with a flange welded on already

When I ordered the kit direct from Ecs it was missing parts had to get that sorted out then found a couple of things I during the install that where crappy had to Open up a couple holes to get one of the brackets to work also there is a couple spacers that are not me mentioned in the instructions u will most likely have to call and ask about or be very observant on the first install.. I have now removed and replaced my kit several times this year due to other changes on the car and it's a walk in the park.. I think to make a intercooler like agps work u would only have to cut a couple of the rubber couplers but u will have to get the bov welded on to one of the other pipes I have mine now in front of drivers side wheel fits great.. I can't speak for performance yet as I am waiting on my built motor to be done... I think the prochatger kit is comparable but everyone I have ever talked with says the bracket/tensioner is better in the Ecs kit
This makes me rethink getting the ECS kit next month.... I would get the agp kit but my cars to low and it floods down in corpus Christi sometimes.... with your review I'm really thinking about going pro charger now. I thought their system was just a bolt in.... anyone can do it kind of system with all the parts included

Nope.... when I say bolt on I mean it comes with all the parts to do the install. Basically when you get the kit in the mail you don't have to go to the auto parts store and buy brackets hoses or anything everything is in the kit. And that's what I'm looking for. I had a 2004 srt4 and I ordered AGP turbo system upgrade for that car.... that system came with everything I needed to do the install besides the tuning parts. If you're going to pay thousands of dollars for a system you want it to be complete.

AGP system is bolt in. No cutting/tapping/drilling/etc. Comes with everything needed. Labeled vacuum lines, every bolt, etc.

And water is not an issue AT ALL. If you are concerned just get the CAI kit. Looking at your profile the location of the filters is about where your license plate is. If you plan on getting the car flooded to a point where it is totalled from water damage, then you need to worry about sucking water in, and even then it wouldn't be a quick/instant thing.

The CAI does require cutting the fender liner. On a lowered car the turbos can hit things, happend to my cousins car

The CAI kit does, but I would never run the CAI kit.

You can also hit headers, oil pan, or anything. That is owning a car. The turbos are above the frame so it takes a really special situation to hit one, and you would have to run over something pretty nasty to worry about that. I would be more worried about taking out an oil pan than a turbo.

ECS is comes with everything you need if you order it such way, however you will have to cut a bracket off the wheel well and it looks like crap unless you do something like I did, which was bought some color match touch up spray paint and sanded the area down and painted it, you cant see the area much when the unit is installed but I still wanted to make it look the best I could.

The ECS kit is complete, you don't have to buy anything-I do agree the instructions are not the greatest. But luckily I was able to get pics and questions answered quickly.

The first kit I ever did was on my own car and we easily had it done over the weekend with no trips anywhere for missing parts.

That was my main concern because my car is lowered and when I go over a speed bump even if I go slow I still hit my long tube headers
