It is all above the frame, so how often are your dragging your frame around?

Yes AGP will sell you just a FMIC, and yes over 100rwhp gains just from a FMIC.
I agree 100% on the ECS kit.

I was wondering how far they tucked up there too and about ground clearance on a lowered car

Because of the cast adapters, everything is above the frame. You would drag that before touching a turbo.

ECS kit all the way if you want a blower.

Looking at the ECS kit, it looks like all you would have to do is trim the rubber hoses for the wider AGP intercooler. Not sure if the BOV mounts on the intercooler like the vette kits, if so you would have to do that too. Like I said, AGP could add a BOV flange to the fmic easy enough.

I'll bug Kevin later, and see how sending a FMIC to arun to test fit/etc, or something.

it looks like for now it would be simpler to just buy the whole ecs kit as is and just add/take away later as needed, since this is my first FI install. I can always change things after i get it tuned and up up/running. The only thing i think I will miss about the procharger is that straight cut gear whine which i really looked forward to, but maybe long term might be annoying, hell who knows lol

$600 for the huge AGP intercooler. Have to trim the pipes to get it to fit from what I can tell. They look like large rubber couplers into it, so should just be cut them back to fit.

That's a great price Nick-I would buy that. If he can weld that Tial flange on the driver side end tanks then we would be golden. Pretty much plug and play for the ECS crowd-just trim the hoses.

Only thing is I can't test fit it till the spring when I bring the car back out.

Plus side is I can sell ECS kits minus there intercooler if somebody wants to go this route.
