Dealer has a NEW 2014 SS won't budge on MSRP

There's a 15 Red Rock 1LE w/Recaros and Nav at a somewhat local dealer for $37k. Also see a 15 Emerald Green 2SS SS A6 for $35. Seems like good deals are still out there, but you have to look and be willing to travel.

I bought my 1ss 1le 2015 brand new at the end January 2016 for sticker price minus any rebates, bonus cash and employee discounts.

However people are still buying 1le's and getting them shipped, so in order to be part of the 5th gen 1le family I just pulled the trigger.

Both of my local dealers, Airport Chevy and TC Chevy have 2015's new sitting on the lot. They usually refuse to budge off of MSRP and still carry ADM's on some.

On their websites they put "Call for Appointment" and don't list the prices. When I went to go sit in a Gen 6 2SS yesterday they had a $2,000 ADM on it. It's not as bad as the 3LT C7 they had in their showroom with a $10,000 ADM on it (for a total price of $93,000!!)

+1 for Becky @ Rodgers ! The 1le's will sell at sticker price minus any GM discounts if people really want it and know what the heritage of the 1le means.

So you got a 44,000+ MSRP vehicle for (1LE no less) for under $30k before taxes/fees..... Call me an asshole, but I do not believe it. Maybe with a trade-in or some money down that was your price.

No I swear haha the guy I bought it from already had a 2015 Z06 Corvette that he just bought and was trying to get rid of his 1LE. I was his first offer and he took it. It was for $30,000 I paid $1200 for sales tax in RI

If i said i just got mine (well, its actually COMING IN and not here yet, coming from another Province So its presently on the train, lol!!), yep, its a black '15, 2SS, RS, 1LE, Nav, Recaros, exhaust, roof (yuk! But it was the very last 1LE avail in Canada so i took it!!) every single option was checked, even the gas cap is the optionnal one lol!! .... For 36xxx USD. From reading you guy's comments, it would be a not too bad of a deal, right? Ive been wondering a bit....

It went so fast, i got up that morning, decided i was dooing a move on a white '14 1LE i had been watching for 3 months and when i called the dude (hed just renewed his ad 4 days ago then) and he had just sold it the night before!!!! I was pissed.... Told the wife i was going to the dealer just to "see" if they might still have some '14 or '15 left over 1LE's (as i HATE the '16's new model, it looks like a Hyundai Tiburon to me) and the only 1LE available left was this one, i wanted white but the color was black... I did with it!!! :-)

Im an 'old' Camaro guy. Had 3 69's recently, so, sold one before christmas and am selling the other two's now. Had a lot of first gens over the years from Pro street/fastest street cars type to stock and everything in between. Decided it was time to try out those new Musclecars and see what the hype is all about. Hope ill enjoy it... Planning on taking driving courses to make sure im up and able to push it to its limit.

Oh.... And i got a complete set of OEM Z/28 badges on ebay!! Lol!! Like the good old days, i "might" put these on. And the rr spoiler. But the brakes might give it away fast... We'll see!!!

That's assnine we have a local dealer has a 2015 1LE with recaro's loaded list was 48,500 it's down to 36,999. << that's a great deal.....

When i bought my '14 2SS/RS in Jan 2014 (New York), i had a number in mind and i didn't budge. I got about 15% off sticker. I went to about 5 or 6 dealers and they'd all dance around the number but only one met me there!

Some dealers have their own agendas. For instance, one dealer i went to had a 2011 in the showroom and he said he can give that to me for 40k. Kept talking it up like it was the best thing ever. I told the guy "i want a NEW 2014 2SS/RS and not a SS 2011 with GFX..." the guy kept pushing so i just got up and left while he was still spitting out his garbage.

I think that sometimes you just have to find the right dealer and the right salesman. I am Chevy to the core but you could also leverage the fact that for a few thousand more you could buy a used Shelby GT500 since the GT350 came out. Or even the Hellcat. If the dealer is giving you a hard time about 15% off sticker, throw that in their face.

Dealers are typically sleazy so you have to throw it right back at em!
