ZL1 donuts and burnout
Now that I've moved on to the corvette world, I realize how much I miss the old ZL1.. Here's a quick video, burning off the old good year F1 tires before they were replaced by some michelin PSS.. enjoy!

Can't wait for my F1's to get more worn...Question - how do you like the PSS tires versus the F1's (pro's & con's)...thanks.

Nicely executed and safely done. Love the smell of fresh tire smoke, it's like musk for men. Lol

-When they were cold I could slide the back end around without waisting any rubber, because they were so slippery.. Probably a con to most people -They look cool Pro's about PSS: -Everything.. All around a much better tire. At the drag strip and on the street. Hand's down the best performing street tire I've ever installed. I just installed some Nitto Invo's on my Corvette and they grip really well for the power level that I'm at, but I suspect that after I install the supercharger they won't provide as much grip as the PSS.. Plus the Invo's are the best looking street tire IMO.. See video below for some corvette action! This was my third time driving the Vette.. The factory tires were already very worn out. |

I have had PSS on other performance cars and loved them...I was just curious how they compared to the F1...it may be PSS for me next time around. Thanks for the reply.

Thank you so much for posting that. I've been staring at my car in the garage during these winter months just praying for the warm weather so I can do the exact same thing!! BRAVO

Now you gotta scrape those little black sticky balls out of your wheel wells?

Awesome burnout video. I can't bring myself to do that anymore...when I was 18, different story. That was before I bought my first set of tires.
