416 F1X Power Loss After 6k RPM
So Im looking for any assistance or input with an issue we are seeing on the dyno. I am in the process of getting a speed density tune with Pat G in Victoria, Tx and we are seeing an issue. The power and torque pretty much go straight up with a very smooth line to about 6k RPM and you start to see power loss and jump in the data. You can also hear it from the car that its slightly cutting out and we let out of it. This happened a few pulls and it was just too hot so we shut it down. Pat says its not knocking and the VE tables are all perfect. Fuel is not an issue either (Fore Innovations double pump return style system). We think it may have to do with spark plug (BR7EF) gap or something of that nature. When its cutting out slightly around 6k you can also see light flames coming from the exhaust. Just looking at input to see if anyone has experienced this. Thanks.

What are the plugs gaped at?

UPDATE
Pulled plugs and gapped to .026" and as a result, power pulls clean to 7000 with absolutely zero knock retard. Here is a video of a pull with the "Spark Blow Out."

Im honestly not too sure. I thought they were .026", but I'm guessing not. When you start making big power your shit has to be spot on.

Thats a good question. I have a full Kooks exhaust which has a x style pipe in the exhaust. Im not sure why it did that Maybe something to do with the issue of spark blow out.
