Zl1 replica wheels

I have a 2010 camaro ss and I found these zl1 replicas (click the link) and they are a great deal but the problem is that it says they only fit the v6 because the higher models such as the ss have the bigger brakes so I was wondering if I were to use spacers would I be able to use the wheels and if yes how big would the spacers need to be? Also do you think this wheel would be heavier than the stock ss rims.

Thanks

Yes they will fit and you'll need 1/4" spacers.

Go checkout the Phastek website I just got the ZL1 replica wheel from them in a 20x10 and a 20x11, they are a little bit more expensive but they are very helpful in making sure you get the correct wheel and tire size for your model. I put a 285 up front and a 305 in the rear and I have no rubbing issues at all, I was very hesitate when purchasing my wheels and tires as I was afraid on fit net issues but Phastek was great. PM if you like and I will help you out.

The ones he linked from OE wheel look more like the real ZL1 wheels than the ones you buy off phastek. That's the reason I went with this brand.
LG motorsports sells a closer replica too, they're wider but also more expensive.

A lot of people get confused on this.

If you have stock SS rims and go with ZL1 replicas you will actually cut down about 16lbs (4lbs per wheel). Now if you were to get factory forged ZL1 rims, the weight would decrease even more. So regardless you can expect some minimal weight reduction.

There is a forum sponsor (Factory Reproductions) that can hook you up with a nice deal on replicas for a bit more $$ than those you found, but these are a bit better quality imo. Of course the best route would be factory forged, but those cost a pretty penny more! Best of luck on your decision!

I buying wheels and giving a close look at the ones from phastek. Is there a lighter brand of zl1 reproduction wheel to look for?

The ones on phastek are made by the same people here on the forum, Factory Reproductions. Best to go through them here as they give you a discount for being a forum member. Save yourself some money! They are probably the best replica brand as far as reliability to go with if you arent doing factory forged.
