305/45/17 et street r vs hoosier slick
anybody run these new et streets and what kind of 60ft's yall cuttin with them. obviously id love to have the hoosier slicks due to them being cheaper, but i'm not sure if bias ply will work okay with my radial sportsman front runner tires?

Can't help you with the et streets, but bias ply with radials in the front makes you shit your pants at the top end.

So I'm guessing the Mickey Thompsons would work better for my set up correct?

With the auto you will cut better 60' with DR than with the slicks IMO. I have ran both with the 325/45/17 M&H my 60' is 1.45 to 1.50 with the 10X28 slicks cutting low 1.50s.
I have ran slicks with radials up front and at 130 it will walk with you. LOL

I have differing views...
1. I have run 215 radial up front and 28x17 Hoosier slick out back. Handled fine. I've had radials up front and slicks out back with 4th gens too. But the handling gets crappy if you run the slicks at low psi. You get a lot of sway last half of the pass. 2. At a perfect track I'd prefer running DRs all day long. But for me, my local track is not always killer. So I've tended to run my best times with slicks. 1.47 so far. I just got 15" slicks too.

I think vehicle weight plays a big factor. Low psi and slicks on my 1990 IROC was No problem. Low psi and Slicks on my 1971 Monte made me Pucker a little! LOL

With the 28x17 Hoosier slicks the sway is noticeable to me at 17 psi.
With my old 2000 Z/28 I noticed the sway at 12 psi. Lighter car I suppose.

I love my M&H DRs. Like Mr Nasty I run a 325/45 17 and cut 1.36-1.40 60'.

I think I've eliminated the hoosiers outta the equation now, so my other options are m&h and I can go with either the 275/50/17 or 325/45/17 and that's a big stretch between contact patch and i'll be running 17x10's. I think 325 is too wide for a 10" wheel but I don't wanna stretch tires either on a 275. seems to me the mickeys are right in the middle of the road and best price wise

I have the 275/50/17 M&H on 17x9.5s. I will share a pic to you on FB.
Personally I'm not impressed. To me hook the same as Nittos, but might be due to all the gear we run, converter, and the tire is about the same size as a stock 275/20.
