After 3 LONG Months....
It finally fired up!!!!!!! I don't know if any of you were keeping track of my previous thread titled "VVT3 cam installed but car won't start" but the good news is after trial and error. It was the o2 extenders that were causing the issue. It definitely needs a Dyno tune (since its a tad bit sluggish and struggles with start up) but I have faith everything will be ok....
Now, on to my next question.....LOL Due to the fact I have a 3600 Stall converter and no cats+LT headers, Im wondering what would be the most idea mod to quiet it down a bit. I have a full JBA set up which makes it sound like a hot rod, but since its still my daily driver for now, I was wondering what could quiet it down for the time being when I'm cruising. Just something to not annoy neighbors or LEO... I was thinking high flow cats or just purchasing a new muffler and installing my old one back on once its not deemed a daily driver any more. Any suggestions?

All depends on what sound you are looking for
I have stainless works Turbo S mufflers which are pretty quiet which works out perfect cuz I have cutouts also when I want loud |

I will! Thank bro...I think the cutouts might be the way to go for now..because i do want to keep the Hot Rod sound it has but not at all times....Any disadvantages of having them?

Sorry for the bump but, Quick question to any one that might have already done this...
Would adding 2 dynomax bullets tone the sound down? I plan on welding them where the resonators would have been since I have a JBA exhaust system. I put in an order for 2 12 inch bullets so I'm hoping I did right from a previous post i read that said, the longer the bullet, the more quiet it would be...

I wish...I got the car with 500 Miles on it and a Flowmaster exhaust that i happily sold when my JBA exhaust came in. I went on and installed some bullet mufflers just now and it took away a lot of the raspiness, so I'm hoping a tune would get rid of the rest. *fingers crossed*

No...but i am hoping the tune can quiet it down a bit. I installed some 12 inch bullets on it which tamed a it quite a lot, it took away the majority of the obnoxiousness. If i still run into trouble then hi flow cats will be the next option.

I'm looking to add the longest dynomax bullets in the middle of a 3inch outlaw catback. How much will it quiet it down? Will it make the tone deeper? I also have headers
