Car did very good for the 90+ degree day in the shop. Everything went smooth. We love doing headers ect on these cars.

My understanding is that the Mass Inspection for newer cars is an OBD plug in, if all reads out correct you are good to go.
As far as eyeball testing for mods, I don't think most busy shops even look at much. Loudness can get you in trouble I imagine, but mine has the stock dual mode so should be fairly quiet below 3000 RPM. That's why I kept it I don't envision an issue with these mods on my car, but won't know until next June.

Well, I picked up the car this morning. All I can say is WOW.
First, the looks: ARH are top quality headers. Super thick mounting flanges, I can see why they have little problems for most people. They have a nice brownish metallic look after a few heat cycles I am told, look great under the hood. Second, the feel: This is THE car I thought I was getting when I bought it. The LS3, allowed to breathe free, is incredible. I always felt I was missing something with the car stock, now I know I was right. Whole new experience and I love it. The car pulls freely through all gears and RPMS. The small hesitation that existed upon throttle input is totally gone. 5th gear is now a passing gear, I kid you not. Third, the sound: This thing sounds like pure evil upon startup. Total badassery. Cannot be beat. I suck at video files, but most here have heard headers + dual mode, it's fantastic. The engine and exhaust sound so great, I doubt I will ever play the radio again. Ever. When you hit 3k RPM and the dual mode flaps open, well it's special. Raucous and mean, sounds like a race car. I know many are keen to keep the warranty, I was too. For me this new experience is worth the risk or cost to fix. Keep in mind, these mods are not brutal power adds, so should be no issue. Oh, and the 1st-4th skip shift is GONE Could not be happier. Thanks and hats off to Don Kinder and his crew at Slowhawk Performance. Great work. (sorry for crap pics, car was inside garage)

Ok, this may well be just in my head but........
The car shifts better now. It's not my imagination. I think removal of the 1st-4th skipshift allows the trans to just be a trans. I drove quite a bit today, it is very different, love it. Maybe I am crazy
