Best throttle controller?
Whats the best throttle controller?? Some people say vitesse but some people tell me don't buy vitesse and then name other brands. What's the best one you can buy under 200? Thank you!

The small skinny pedal on the far right and a proper tune. Throttle controllers are just gimmicks which can be achieved with a proper tune (decreeing the programmed throttle delay)

I like my Vitesse. I didn't have the $500+ for a quality tune and do t want to void my warranty just yet.
There are other brands out there. Some have reported a problem with the Vitesse and the VMAX ported throttle body when used together. Search the for sale sections, I picked up my Vitesse used for $90 in perfect condition and it hasn't failed me in the 6 months it's been installed...

I like the Viteese as well. It's direct fit, has multiple settings. I've had it for a couple of years now.
@ Failshift, I get your point, and understand it completely. However, some, many, either do not want to, or are not ready to start modifying or tuning their car. So, until then, these devices do a great job of getting rid of the annoying throttle delay. Gimmick or not, it does what it is advertised to do. |

The thing is, by plugging in that VTC, you ARE voiding your warranty. Read the warranty card that came with your car. Or just go talk to your service adviser at the dealership. They'll say the same.

You can also decrease the throttle delay with a handheld tuner and much much more for around the same price a little more

A throttle controller can be removed in in 15 min or less, even on the side to road. They also leave no trace behind as it changes nothing in the software of the car. The dealer would never know it was ever there.
