Anyone use spray foam on factory enclosure like this? - Page 2 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ponchonutty is right. The automotive industry has been using extruded or molded foam for years in hidden areas of your car for support and sound deadening. If you have ever taken the front end off your Camaro you will find there is is a good size black chunk in there filling the space between the structural support and front fascia.

Well I didn't go crazy with the stuff but I did spray it in some of the nooks around the subwoofer. I can't believe the difference in the quality in the sound. Plus, the hollow sound from the rear is all gone too
