It's like night and day. Haven't even tried 9 yet but on SP6 I can easily bark 2nd now. Well worth the money.

Didn't feel like walking out and taking a pic so just copied this pic off google...Anyway, I hid mine inside the side panel next to fuse box. Fits perfectly in there and is easy to access if I want to change settings. I prefer a clean look, so if I can hide something from sight I will.

Plenty of wire to make it to the center console, start at the pedal, run to the passenger side and back.

I didn't remove mine when I took it to the dealer. No one said a word. It was just for an oil change though.

I installed my controller to the right of the steering column in the flat area of the dash panel. I also bonded the cable to the bottom edge of the controller so the cable would be held tight around the edge. Just used a couple of zip ties until the glue dried.

My only gripe about the controller is that I wish the display would turn off when the key is off. The display is on all the time.

I no longer have the car but I had mine on the center console under the shifter. It was a clean install.

I guess the display stays on with all of these all the time. Anyone worried about draining the battery if the car sits for a week?

Why, because you had a lot of problems with it, and you got tired of the faults. Me too. Where can I find out how to fix or update it?
