It's definitely hitting, I marked it and checked (I even adjusted my hood), mine moves a lot also...

Double check and make sure that the water bottle is not hung up on anything and is sitting flush with the frame rail, you may want to loosen the rear bracket to do this.

If you need to lower the unit for any reason , there is a rubber grommet under the VR water bottle sitting in the frame rail that was used for the OEM Air Box . these usually come out when the factory box is removed but it may still be sitting in the frame. Simply Remove this grommet and it will lower the unit about a 1/2 inch.
