Sounds like having something like the Camaro would feel pretty exclusive.
I love the clear markers and clear spots in the taillights. |

Cool, you'll have to keep us posted. Is the dealer handling the tint/cameras?

50th Anniversary Edition
Hi Guys,
I picked my 50th Anniversary Edition from Ian Allan yesterday. I've always owned black cars so decided against loud colours but looking at that yellow it really does look sharp I have to say. Maybe I'm suffering from post purchase dissonance? Whilst I'm on I have a theory about why the EU cars don't come with SS badging anywhere, inside or out. Germany is Chevy's biggest market in Europe and given the history of that country SS is a banned logo there for very obvious reasons, so I think that's why they are de-badged. I've no proof of this of course, it's just a theory but I can't think of any other good reason to remove them can you? Hope you enjoy your new car man. . Welcome to the club old boy.
I guess you will have to use some good British Auto Glym polish to protect it against that salt air. Its a great play toy enjoy and have a pint or two for me. |

I saw your car at Ian Allans the other day. It looked superb, but I can't live with dark coloured cars.
The first thing I did with mine was to get paintshield protective vinyl film applied to the whole front end, mirrors and rear wheel arches. Definitely worth considering before you get that inevitable first stone chip. After 25 years driving Corvettes this is the best car I have ever owned. It is outstanding in every way except for the blind spot when entering roundabouts caused by the passenger mirror - only a problem, I guess, for those who drive on the left. Really enjoying it and I hope you do yours.

I'm sure we'll take you up on the pint - our beer is one of the many good things about the UK.

50th Anniversary Edition
The thing that really swung the 50th for me was the alloys, I love 'em and I'm pretty pleased with the orange brake calipers too.
One thing I'm less pleased about, indeed the only negative so far from my perspective, is the fact that the stripes are stuck on not painted. I may be naive and clearly I hadn't done my homework sufficiently but have to say this really surprised me, it seems like a bit of a cheap way to finish off a great car. In time I may get my bodyshop to take them off and actually paint and lacquer the car the way it should be, we shall see. |

Hi All, my red tintcoat came in the other day , won't be able to get it before Xmas but going up next week to do the pre inspection. I wouldn't hold your breath on the DVLA bit, last import I registered took a month.
Anyway, makes a nice late Xmas prezzie Anyone else get the red tintcoat ? So I can avoid that part of the country lol Here's mine.. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Very nice. Good colour choice.
When will it be registered? - shouldn't take too long as once the documents are with the DVLA you will be good to go. I've got 400 miles on mine now and am finding the running in very tedious.

Thanks, I was there yesterday, pics don't really do justice to these cars, they all look great.
Should be ready by mid Jan once paperwork is submitted to DVLA , losing procesding days because of the hols. My neighbour and niece work in the DVLA, absolutely no help at all though lol I know what you mean about running it in , it's a pain not being able to drive too spirited Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
