I am not getting exhaust on mine becasue I can hear it kick in and out of 4/8. I want to lose the trash cans but the drone of 4cyl kills that. I can hear it in the Corsa as well which isn't supposed to have drone but it is worse than stock.

My 04 STi got 16 mpg and my 2010 Camaro SS gets 15.5 mpg (city driving with a very heavy right foot).

But I hate the AFM and can't wait to get it tuned out.

At 80 MPH my RPM is between 2000 and 2100 depending on whether or not AFM is active. During AFM activation the torque converter unlocks to allow for smoother transition from 4 to 8 cylinders, which explains the RPM increase.

Both the Diablo Predator and Diablo Trinity take care of the AFM issues on the L99 automatic Camaros... especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust!

I put an axle back solo performance exhaust put on and AFM is WAY more noticable now. Hate it.

Would have much rather paid the gas guzzler tax than to have AFM.. JMHO

What gas guzzler tax? The ls3 doesn't get the tax. Anyhow, I don't have the camaro with afm ,but I had a chrysler 300c with it and you couldn't even tell it was doing it unless you looked at the icon. My dad has a 2009 dodge ram with it and it's seemless also. I would take in and get it checked. Maybe a programing problem. I just asked my partner about his chevy truck and he said he can't tell when It's doing it.
