I picked up a new tower brace and heritage grill. I should have the brace painted and installed soon. I decided to find a 1LE style front splitter to replace my current splitter. I honestly can't stand my sinister splitter. I have a few more ideas for this coming up show season, so we'll see if I can get them all in!! Wish me luck.
Fenders, Grill, Splitter, Rims, ABL install, RGB halos... should be fun when all the parts start coming in!! Last edited by a.morblu; 05-13-2014 at 08:52 AM. |

I've had my eye on a NightOwl kit for awhile, but a few weeks ago when they debuted the defused DRL rings I pulled the trigger and picked a whole kit. I didn't take many photos of the install since the kit comes with an awesome install DVD. The product speaks for itself.
Joe from NightOwl is possibly the best customer service person I have ever dealt with too. Within a few minutes of sending an email with a question he was calling my phone to get everything straight. Great guy. Anyone on the ledge of picking one of these up, go for it. You won't regret it. While the front was off the car I managed to install the new grill and landing pad. I think it and the SS emblem needs to go one grate, so I'll probably change those pretty soon. Next up is a new splitter to finish off the front end refresh. |

Well... It's been a crazy 2 years since I updated this last and I haven't been able to do much to the Sinister SS. However, in those 2 years, I left the Army, moved around a few states, and purchased a new home. I still own her, but the car mods have been sidelined for house mods. One of the first things was the garage floor.
The guys at Gorilla Garage were fantastic. I did a lot of research before I went with them. I'm 100% happy with the end result. I wanted something that installed fast and was really durable. They installed everything in less then 4 hours and within 24 hours I could drive on it. These floors come with a lifetime warranty too!! So, now that things have started to slow down on the house I can focus back in on one camaro project that I have been wanting to tackle for a long long time. I've wanted to replace my terrible looking sinister front splitter with the unicorn 1LE splitter. It took me 2 years of off and on searching, but I finally found one all the way out in Portland. The awesome guy even had a brand new install kit for the thing!! So now the camaro is up on my home made ramps and I'm about to see what type of damage the current splitter has done. (On a side note, why buy race ramps when you can make a set for less than $10?) While I'm working on the front end I'm going to add some water proof led quick disconnects to my diffuser ring RGBs. As is, I can't take the nose off without cutting the wires to the DRLs and the wires have been sitting on my workbench for a year or two. Updates to follow!! |

hey badass looking car man. Im thinking about getting the rear trunk spoiler for mine. Does that spoiler mount up using the factory holes already drilled for the factory wing?

The sinister spoiler is not very attractive spoiler if you look at these pictures here, http://www.pfyc.com/SC1215.html I would suggest this, it has studs built in that use the factory holes and hardware http://mpd1.com/content/cam_rearwing_big.html |
