Those little strips would not provide my car comfort from dings.
Had some leftover parts from plumbing project and used them to make some hefty ding protectors in rare cases where someone may park near me.
Fit easily in the trunk.

Although I remove them before driving ... tested once at 70 MPH and stayed on (we get hurricanes here), patent pending, lol.

Sounds like you and or your passengers are a little rough on your car.

This was the outfit. Nice folks. But for those who'd rather look at dents, I recommend any Wal Mart parking lot. You get really nice dents there. And they're free!

Thanks but they only have the kind that runs below the crease too which won't even cover the painted spots.

I would get the moldings to prevent them, any car I had that had door moldings, and I think my 4th gen had them, I never took them off, because I would rather replace those moldings then have a body shop refinish my doors. Plus my luck I would have the body shop redo the door, and the next day someone would ding it...eff that

All my door dings were the result of OTHER carrless drivers out there that pull up too close and throw open their doors without care.

I understand about the dings and SportWing covers the crease on my SS. But you have to apply it to a smooth panel. I have it on a couple of my family's cars. It will save you money from repairs and frustration of rude people damaging your car and not taking responsibility.

If you place molding over dings, the dings will still show. I was watching YouTube and I learned about glue dent pulling kits. It takes patience but the kit works. I purchased one at Harbor Freight for about $30.00 to remove a dent on my roof. Took some patience but it worked. So, you might want to remove your door dings with a glue dent puller then look into the body side molding, if you like. Hope this helps
