Had a blow out... tire replacement doesnt match up?
2011 2SS Camaro
I blew out the back right tire and they replaced it with this 245/45R20 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BM...3SuD93lPbksa1g This is the back left tire 245/45ZR20 https://drive.google.com/open?id=11w...Sns5Jj3U3NhP1w For some reason my camaro had 245/45ZR20's on all 4 tires (guessing the dealership went cheap?) Am I nitpicking here? it seems like a big difference, did they put it on wrong? maybe the tire doesnt fit?

was that an OEM tire that GM installed? it was Z rated but new one isn't. quite cheap!

What exactly is the difference between ZR and R in the 245/45 ?

Z speed rated means it can handle higher speeds. R is common to all "R"adial tires. just how the tire is built.
Z rated tires can handle speeds over 149mph. standard tires from factory are S rated to 112 mph. |

I was under the impression that they stopped using the 'Z' rating a while back?
EDIT; according to Tire Rack: "When Z-speed rated tires were first introduced, they were thought to reflect the highest tire speed rating that would ever be required, in excess of 240 km/h or 149 mph. While Z-speed rated tires are capable of speeds in excess of 149 mph, how far above 149 mph was not identified. That ultimately caused the automotive industry to add W- and Y-speed ratings to identify the tires that meet the needs of vehicles that have extremely high top-speed capabilities." "While a Z-speed rating still often appears in the tire size designation of these tires, such as 225/50ZR16 91W, the Z in the size signifies a maximum speed capability in excess of 149 mph, 240 km/h; the W in the service description indicates the tire's 168 mph, 270 km/h maximum speed."

I guess the issue here is... the used car dealership I bought this from put on 245's all around and I should be using 275/40s on the back.

Just so you know. The rear rims are wider than the fronts, and too wide for 245 tires.
