I was just there last night, make sure you have a helmet if you running under 13.99 and it has to be 2010 or newer (I had to buy a new one there mine was out of date $175.00) you will need a racing jacket if you have aftermarket parts like turbo's or superchargers ect.
put me down as a maybe I still have some work to do.

I never heard any rule about having a racing jacket for supercharger. That just doesn't sound right. Where did you hear this? The restrictions get stronger according to times not equipment. i.e roll cage if 11.5 or quicker unless its factory stock which I think is totally stupid...

UPDATE: According to the rule book a fireproof racing jacket is only needed if going 11.49 or quicker. If I am that fast they will not let me race again anyway due to also requiring a roll cage!

They are super strict at NED for good reason it's a popular track for many reasons and they've had their fair share of horror stories. Not to sound like an ass to others but you mod your car to go faster investing in proper safety equipment should maybe have been on your mind if you were intending to race it on a track ever.

It has to be a new rule of the tracks because it wasn't listed in their rules before. It's not an NHRA rule...

I did go ahead and order one which will be here Thursday so I guess I'm back in.
