What do you guys think about the stripes?
Do you think GM did a good job on them or would you have someone paint them on? Don't take money into consideration with this question. I just want opinions on the vinyl stripes vs. painted stripes.
I'm on the fence about stripes. I kind of like the factory stripes but my brother owns a body shop and I think he could do some unique stripes too. Maybe ghost flames inside the stripes. |

If money is no object, then go with the painted! You have unlimited options as far as finish, color, and style.
The downside is that your car won't be "100% stock" and you probably won't be able to get any warranty coverage for any future paint issues. The factory stripes are nice when brand new, fresh, and perfect....but they don't last forever...the vynil will fade and if you wound up with a less than perfect stripe install, you're going back to the dealer for new ones...like me! |

Get them painted by your brother!!! By the time you pay the dealer for the stripes that money can be in his pocket.

Chris, do you have any shots of the finished product? Specifically the front. I'm interested in seeing how you ended your stripes in the front.
