We get to see, test, build, modify and drive many late model domestic offerings at the NicKey Performance shop.
The Hellcat is heavy, but it does have some advantages. A trap speed similar to a car weighing in at 500 lbs more would indicate a substantial HP advantage. The HC also weight transfers at launch with the stock suspension and can hook very well on Drag Radials. I believe that GMs sub 12 sec ZL1 1/4 mile ETs were accomplished with Drag Radials and an 18" ZO6 wheel. They're best was low 12s at mid teens trap speed on stock rubber. So GM to GM comparison 11.40s @127 on street tires with no mods is a huge improvement. |

My main point is that as a reference GM rated the 5th Gen ZL1 at:
The 6th Gen ZL1 rating at: 11.40 @ 127 mph A8 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds This is a significant improvement in theses particular performance metrics. |

Didn't the ZL1's time at the Ring of 7:29.60 already beat the GT350R's time?
