I think the advantage in the shocks is that it enable you to have a car tuned very firm for handling and then flip a switch.

My driving of Vs or Vettes hasn't been to the level where I could tell you that it handles way better than the base cars because both a CTS and Corvette handler really well to start with. But instead of having to have one solution balanced for ride AND handling, you can have one setting tuned even firmer to enable optimized handling and another tuned for better ride. I can say that in cornering, the car has a more planted feel and in real world driving, where you have bumps and road irregularities that can upset even a Corvette or Camaro, the MR shocks adjust and plant the tire better.

So in the Sport Mode, you get a good firm suspension that works really well. Just hard for me to put in the right words I guess. But you can tell that MR shocks improve the overall handling in either sport or touring mode, and also enable even better handling when in Sport Mode.

Makes sense to me. It's really cool technology -- I just wish it weren't so darned expensive...or you guys could put it in everything!

If it's good technology it'll trickle down, like EFI, etc

Ok, anyone have Kevorkian's number? I think he is out of jail now.

On a happy note, I took the Sky for an oil change. It sat on the lot for a year so figured some nice clean Mobil 1 would make it a happy car sitting in the garage.

It is snowing.......................................I don't likes it very much. Snowblower runs nice though, for first use of the winter.

4x4 Powerslides in the snow/ice is stupid amounts of fun.

Hell...RWD Silverado powerslides in the snow/ice is stupid amounts of fun.

Naturally....I wouldn't know anything about that, though....I'm a good little boy who doesn't have fun in company property.
