[QUOTE=menendez1293;7602629]Also depends on the tire too (I know that sounds stupid as it is a given) but in my experience the fuel saver tires suck at getting any traction. I would highly consider not putting them back on my cruze and just going for something like the michellen hyrdo edge. My dad had those on his BMW 318i and man those were great in dry and wet.

I love me some Michelins! If I have the Altima long enough to need new tires, I probably will get me some good hyrdo edge type Michelins. They do stick like glue in even the hardest rain.

Ahh I'm just messing with you. Sometimes I just don't drive the camaro because I am to lazy to wash it later on.
Very true. Those tires are built for low rolling resistance (which leads to low traction).

Yea but technically my winter car is my dads lol. Plus how would I go to his house which is 3 and a half hrs away to get the car without leaving one behind lol...also not to mention not sure if he would even let me have both at the same time but then again never asked. I love driving my camaro. The only time it would be nice to have two cars is when I am installing something on the camaro and don't have to worry about having it done by a certain time to go somewhere.

I use to store my car in PA for the winter. I would find rides with people heading in that direction or have my parents drop me off halfway and have a friend pick me up. If you want something badly enough you make it work.

So far Michelins are the tires I have been the most happy with on all the cars I have driven. However with the camaro I think I'm gonna take the risk and try out Vredesteins when the time comes.

Pretty much. Earlier today when leaving school I did a medium acceleration to 3K rpms so I could get in second while going up a hill and they started slipping and today was completely dry and sunny.

I will be buying new tires for my Silverado sometime this year. I will be turning off the traction control and see if I can get a big burn out off the old tires before I put the new ones on. Let's see if that 5.3 V8 can get any smoke off the tires.

What cab and box?

I occasionally drive a 5.3L Silverado extended cab regular box and with all nannies off I'm sure it will light them. Just be sure to be in a wide open place you never know where that back end will end up.

I do know a raptor will make all four tires burn, I have seen it in person and it's pretty impressive.

I have an extended cab short box (6.5') Z71 package. It should have no issues and I will do it in an open area just to be safe. I will get about 55,000 out of the OEM tires which is about double what I got out of the P-zeros on the Camaro.

If it behaves like my '94 truck, it will wheel-hop like hell; so be careful and don't break anything...

just occurred to me that one of the many reasons I love the Rally Yellow color is the pollen doesn't show up as badly as it does on some other colors lol
