Had my girl came to get me and went to the store then stopped at home grabbed tools. Nice thing about these cars is takes seconds to swap a belt on. Looking at eclectic water pumps now lol.. Less drag on the motor and works to cool car regardless of belt on. Man my heart was in my ass when I first popped the hood. Praying the antifreeze came from the overflow reservior only.

The club will also do paced laps at Watkins Glen a couple of times a year. That would at least give you a chance to see what the track is like. 3 laps for $25. If we get the right pace car driver we can get some pretty quick laps.

That's what I'm talking about.. Told her about the track insurance, since I wanted to run at VIR. Hard one to convince. Should be able to talk her into the club thing though.

All you have to do is follow the rules. If we get the right pace car person they let you run fairly fast. They tell you 55 mph is the limit. No passing or laging behind holding up the cars. Some of these guys have hit pretty good speeds. I haven't run the track lately but I still go to be with the club. My top speed was on the finish line stretch 123 mph.

My good friend is selling his 2003 Corvette Z06. Beautiful car that's been well cared for, very tasteful mods, and very fast. 455rwhp pushing a mere 3,100lbs is moving! Here is a link to the post. He is located just East of Syracuse in Kirkville, NY.
If you want more info you can contact me, or him directly through the corvette forum linked in the for-sale thread. Hopefully the next ride is a Camaro (although he's got sights set on a CTS-V I think) and we'll get him on the forum and into UpstateC5.

Coming up Saturday to house hunt. Got 4 to look at, from Conquest to West Monroe, and Sennett to Camillus. Looking forward to finding one that will work, and hopefully writing an offer. We'll see..

Hey Vin, mind coming to the ROC to drive my car and let me know what's wrong with my clutch/tranny, other than it being connected to a v6 lol
