Change in driving habit will explain it.
When you first got it, you might have been babying it a little for the break in. Now it is broken in a bit, you are probably getting on the gas more than before. |

Dont forget the gas changed to government mandated winter blend recently. The winter blend gives worse gas mileage.

I usually get around 18 mpg in mine. 60% rush hour, 25% city, 15% highway.
Much better than the 10 mpg I was getting in my 93 Viper. |

Page 11-2 of the Owner's Manual list the fuel capacity at 18.8 gallons. I down loaded the manual from this forum and read it while waiting on the car to be delivered.
The car was delivered Sunday morning (1/17). I filled it up Monday night and got 17.3 mpg on the first tank with 70/30 hwy/city mix.

Most people don't buy a 2SS is they are worried about gas mileage. That's what the Prius is for. The gas mileage on the 2SS is pretty good compared to other muscle cars. Cheers!

I had a 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6L v8 a few years ago.I was traveling roughly 82 miles round trip to and from school and with the 19 gallon tank I was filling up every 3 to 4 days mainly due to my lead foot. Not to mention on more than one occasion Highway racing fellow students.by rights I should have been getting 475 miles to a tank when i was getting I'd say 250 to 330 miles.Yeah I had asked one of my freinds at a local Ferrari Dealer about their Black M5 V-10 they had (that's now sold) about the gas milage and he said with a 16 gallon tank the previous owner got roughly 14 to the gallon. My reaction: DAMN!

Yea, but a vette with an LS3 gets around 25 to 29 mpg on the highway. I know the vette weights about 1000lb less than the Camaro but someone has to be getting near the rated mpg. Right?
