I will broaden the question. Do you like after market mags or do you prefer OEM mags.

If you like after market mags, what brand do you prefer for rifles?

I saw a new low today in the craziness.

I was shopping for mags for my 7.62 AR I have on order. Found 3 20 round pmags on Gunbroker... $299.

I forget what kind I bought but they are metal case and they work great.

also I don't buy the glock has a safety, just keep your finger off the trigger line, A friend of mind had a cat set his glock off that was sitting on the table, that cat ended up pissing all over the table as it tried to get away from the noise.

Thats nothing, 5 30 round AR windowed Pmags sold for almost $700 on GB.

I found a generic nickel BCG for $600.

S&W M&P 15 plain jane rifles selling for $2800.

1k rounds of milsurp 5.56 sold for $1200

Its straight up lunacy.

it's crazy. I went with a buddy to the gun show and he asked me to help him look for an AR, I saw an M&P for $950, a little over what they usually are and told him to buy it now! He didn't and is still kicking himself lol

we're getting ammo just fine down here in SA. It'll sell out in the store in about two hours. But, it's delivered every day. I've got plenty of rounds. I'd like to get some more pmags....but that's just not gonna happen. No one seems to be getting them. ...which is F'ING CRAZY.

I think they guys shipping them are pulling them from the boxes and are selling them themselves....I wouldn't doubt it.

Sucks. I'm not hurting because I NEED them...but sheesh people. How much money are y'all (everyone out there) going to spend to stock up?!?! I can only spend so much money on ammo before I'm like..."I'm broke dudes...." lol

I wish I could get some ammo. Glad I have a stock pile. Saw some pmags on rip you off.com I mean cheaper than dirt for around $50 a mag if you are really needing them.

Complete BS! I need to find some more mags. Next on my search. I have been able to put together an AR during this madness for a reasonable price tho! Will post a pic when I have the rest of the parts and its together.

I'm confused on the people "stocking up" that think we're going to re-start the revolutionary war... like they'll survive long enough to go through 5000 rounds, or be able to carry that much in the first place

I have a suspicion that the lack of ammo is being caused by... another entity. Notice the severe lack of Federal Ammo? That's a government owned and operated company, and they only sell commercial ammo when they have extra manufacturing power, after all their other orders are filled.

The Pmags... I understand why those are gone. They're awesome, and they weren't as plentiful as ammo, and a bunch of people want every last one they can get for resale. I think Tag's suspicion about the Mags is correct...
