Must be nice to have awesome things handed to you without having to lift a finger to earn the money to buy them. When I was 19 back in 2001 I saved and saved until I had enough money to buy my '84 Firebird that I wanted. And it felt great to have that sense of accomplishment that I worked hard enough to afford my own car without taking any hand-outs. Just look at this ungrateful spoiled brat:
She has no idea how good she really has it.

perhaps since their parents are super succesful rich doctors or whatever they are. they will be able to pass on hard work and dedication to their children. Sure the steriotype of rich kids are that they are brats but isn't the steriotype of people who drive camaros mullet wearing budweiser drinking SOB red necks. And we all know that's only about 50% percent accurate! LOL

just curious. Why does it have to be a camaro???? Just because its powerful. You can drive like an ass in a pickup truck. And wrap your self around the same poll. When I was 16 I got an 87k5 the stock 350 was great, nice power, stock. after I was done it was pushing 460 hp at the flywheel.

But even though I love him, im super jealous of my bro getting a cts-v for his 16th (the ls2 version, He got it 2 years ago) But guess what. He does not have this over ego crap yall are talking about, He takes care of it him self. He has a job to stay out of trouble, My dad and I both work very hard at our business and my dad hopes that one day after he dies that we can both run it just as good as him if not better. Dont judge a book by its cover. Even if the parents did buy it for them, Doesn't mean their spoiled brats.

I say congrats to those kids.

Some families have it better than others. I only WISH I could do this for my kids. There ARE ways of teaching responsibility to kids no matter 16 or not. It's the maturity factor that plays the most important role.

If my boy is gets straight A's and still kicking @$$ at hockey (102 points this year), I'll buy him a Camaro for his 16th birthday. That's if I can still afford it after paying for all this travel hockey.

Well said Thunder. I think your parents have the right idea and are instilling the right values on their kids. Keep your head straight, do the right thing and you'll continue to be the person we need to keep the country on the right track. Hats off to your family!

while part of me thinks they're spoiled and shouldn't have an SS version, most of me is pleased that they choose to not be wrapped up in the whole "tuner" thing.

goooooooo Camaro.......

My nephew (18) told me he likes SOME "tuner" cars too. We were out putting eye tracks on the dealer's Camaro yesterday. I laughed at him. Told him a fart can and a bottle don't turn an econobox into a sports car. It just wrecks the car.
