What you guys fail to look at it that.... When they call the ZR1 and the ACR as America's Monsters.... it's said for a reason
The ZR1 is a marvel but it is very very very difficult to unleash that beast around the track with out harming yourself and the car... go check the reviews

Which is of course, personal opinion. I mean technically unless something thats used is of limited resource, whichever is used more at some point along the scale would be cheaper, because you can buy in bulk.

No, not really. Walking around a parkinglot or some car show, sure its easy. But when I'm driving it gets a lot more difficult. Can't really stare at that other car for too long. Often you only get one glance at the front end since most cars you see are in the opposite traffic lane. And so far, I've never noticed a single powerbuldge hood on a new Mustang while driving. Its too hard to pick out that particular detail, which is the main front end difference from the previous cars. Its easy if you are driving behind a 2010+ Mustang because of how Ford screwed up the back end. Maybe you can pick out more details from a 1/2 second glance with a closing rate of 100 mph or more, I know I can't.

If a camaro cut a mid 1.4 sixty foot and didn't lift the front tires I would be extremely surprised.

Here's to help you out. The headlights are thinner and the grill/hood tapers down on the sides to meet the thinner headlights.

Holy Cr@p Stock Auto 2011 Stang runs 115mph vs L99 Longtubes...
All I gottaa say is uuuuhhhh... Oooohhh.... This does not look to good. I feel like the Mustang GT guys have felt for the last 17 years, I need a blower to compete....Look at the mph...
First stock auto drag times I've seen. http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...Black-Auto-5.0 Just got back from the track, i am very happy to say the least. Right off the freeway into the staging lanes after tech the first pass i did a 12.85 @ 114.8 Did a little cool down and dropped to 12.80 @115.171 with no cool down right back to the staging lanes it blasted to a 12.73@115.59 i was so surprised for a auto to be this fast and consistent. I did 8 passes all ranging from 12.88 to the 12.73. This is 100% stock with 400 miles on the clock and stock tires at 35psi launching on idle with the traction control on. The best part was seeing the driver of the New Camaro ss with his newly installed long tubes drop his jaw at the times while his best was a 13.09 @ 110 Ill get the videos of passes from my buddy here shortly and post them up The weather honestly was perfect mid 70s couldn't of asked for better. All the runs where with 2.0 60 foots so im thinking these auto 5.0s with a nice stall and sticky tires with gears should be low 12s high 11s easy stock motor

and dyno'd in 3rd (1.52:1) it made 372 whp.
so with less wheel hp it ran 5 mph faster than most manual 5.0's?

Anybody else looking at this thread, 1 think to note is the dummy who posted on the ford site about the jump start thing is NOT the guy who ran the times. The screen name of the owner of the car that ran these numbers is "Vindicated". The 2011Droptop guy is just plain stupid...
Bighammer, Not sure why it ran that fast, must be something w/ the gearing, the mph on the camaro sounds right L99 w/ longtubes only no tune, thats close to what mine ran w/ no fuse pull only longtubes.

The best mph I have seen for the 5.0 M6 is ~112, a 3 mph improvement for the auto seems very high, I would expect it to be slightly lower than the M6. I would be curious to see if these trap speeds are normal. Either way the ET is very impressive, and I really wish GM would have put the LS3 in the A6 camaro. Sadly, I don't think it will be much of a race between an L99 and an A6 5.0.

115mph is crazy for a stock auto! This summer at the strip isnt looking as good as I thought it would for the Camaros.
