If I could get comfirmation that any of these colors would be on the Camaro, I would hold off. If not, I'm looking to buy in a few months.

just do the paint delete option and when you get the money paint it green.

My concern for you would be that you wait for the green and it's not the right shade of green. Even if you like the color in pictures it may be different in person.

From the pictures of the ABM I was truely convinced that ABM was going to be my color. However in person and at certain angles/light I just thought that it looked a little to purplish to me. Some angles it looked absolutely stunning....but others....hmmmmm....not sure it's for me.

I say get one now....worst case scenario is that within 6 mths from now the green comes out, it's exactly what you want. These Camaros should be still selling well enough by then that you should be able to re-coupe most of your money....especially if you get an ABM .

Now saying that, without giving up my source because we were asked not to post specific information, I heard from a little GM bird that landed near by that color changes will might be taking place in the next couple months. One of the lower performing colors is supposed to be dropped in place of the rumored green. However....what shade of green is that going to be. Take that for what it's worth....don't listen to me...I never heard anything....actually forget I even said anything.

Phathom green on the '69 is about the only shade of green I could deal with but that's just my opinion. Funny thing is that even though the Phathom Green looks good it's always looked over at car shows. Here is a pic of my dad's Phathom Green Convertible. Great color...good shape...original RS with working healights...but it never wins any car shows.

you've waited so far milk, and from what i've observed over the boards you're pretty passionate about a dark green.

If i were in your shoes (and i do love a green camaro), i'd wait to see what these 2 greens (synergy and opel) will actually look like. if you decide "yuck", go for your next color choice.
but if you buy say an ABM now, and in january they release the green and it turns out to be that dark shade you've been dieing for...... how happy will you be?


if you can live with having a silver/blue/red/etc camaro and seeing other greens on the road, then jump on in.
if you can't.... i'd wait it out.

Good thing my tbird is already a dark forest metallic green or else that would have been one of my wants.

If you really want the green then be patient and wait. It took me from my order on 10/13/08 to 5/20/09 to get my 1SS. What everyone forgets is that when you repaint a car a different color, you must completely disassemble it to paint under the hood, the trunk and the door jambs. Otherwise, you will be taking a brand new car and making it look like a rebuilt wreck. Nothing is worse than opening the door or hood and having the paint be a different color. If you plan on keeping the car for a long time, be patient. All good things come to he who waits.
