actually there were a few deaths related to this recall. which is why they started it. BUT apparently the parts are delayed due to them coming from China.

I don't think they are going to change the ignition switches, just the keys, they will still be coded to your existing switch.

My dealer rep informed me today that they had a second briefing on this and it may also involve the switch tumblers. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out.
