Does anyone know if any of the bushings (radius, subframe, etc) have been fixed with the FE4 suspension or is it still best to replace these?

i would love to see magnetic controlled suspension as an option in this car much like in the cadillac. Stiff when you want it Soft when you cruise. Plus it is variable timed so it can shift on the fly. Be ALOT of fun but priecy i know

The short answer is yes. The FE4 improved rear sway bar geometry and damping are the highlights. The sub-frame bushes are a continuation of the improvement started with the Vert run. Sub-frame bush and radius bush upgrades are still the foundational upgrades. These photos illustrate the why in the sub-frame bushes.

The 10 /11 sub-frame deeply voided bush is on the right and the improved OE version on the left.

This is the FE4 small sub-frame bush top and bottom. I'll get a video put together and post it soon.

This photo shows the FE4 OE bushes, Pedders EP1200 Inserts and the Inserts fit to the OE bushes. You can see how much more control surface there is with the Inserts as well as volume of material to fill the OE bush.

This final photo shows side by side the new FE4 bushes next to Pedders EP1201 / EP1201HD full replacement bushes.

The radius bush is still a hydraulically damped bush and virtually unchanged in the the FE4.

I measured the ride height of my new 2012 the day after I got it in the driveway. I did driveway to top of fendor lip:
RF=30"
LF= 29.75
Both rears = 30.25

These were the same on my 2010 2ltrs aftter 9000 miles expt the rears were at 30.625" as that car sat higher in the rear

Finally. The answer everyone is really looking for. FE3, FE4, ...... 2010, 2011, 2012 or ZL1. Aftermarket suspension upgrades will be better than stock with or without fancy computerized electronics driving for you.

I traded my 2010 SS for a 2012 SS 45th Anniversary and the improvement in the suspension is noticeable and quite possibly worth the move to a 2012 alone. Add to that a rear back up camera, power passenger seat, better steering wheel, better interior fit and finish and interior improvements and the switch was a no brainer.

Back up camera is the only thing that I'd like (and I can add one at that). I personally hate the new wheel and gauges, and a power passenger seat just means more weight. Also, I didn't buy a GM muscle car because of it's interior.

As far as suspension goes, aftermarket is the way to go for serious performance.

And maybe a few other bits...

Freeze frame from the ZL1 Ring video.
Pedders Camaro photo on track running faster than a Z06.
