I was only razzing him because he was showing an obscure part of the vehicle and introducing it here in this thread (which I concluded was only discussion of all things Camaro and the all elusive Z/28) seemed a bit akward and out of place IMO. I test drove an Impala a couple years back (MY 2010) and was not impressed with the handling and ride compared to the Pontiac Grand Prix that I ended up getting as my DD. I was looking for something that had that sporty feel/drive to it and the Pontiac fit that too a T. Felt like I was driving my old Z28 (says a lot about how technology has changed). Impala, meh! not my cup o' tea, but, to each their own , right?!
Frustratingly enough, the C-pillar is all GM will show for now.

Bad@ss, this is a unique thread open to almost all topics of discussion. We range from cars to alcohol and all around. It is, however, based on all things Z related. Generally it was created to be and remains a "safe harbor" for those that need a respite from battling trolls and other site evildoers and wayward thinkers.

We welcome you and hope you are a frequent visitor.

Thanks #3. I remember reading your posts when you were first testing the camaro(part of the CTF fleet, right?) back in 2009 if my memory serves me. That was pretty exciting stuff, I was(along with thousands of others) living vicariously through the posts you made here in C5 during that time (and the ones you made when you also had the 'vert) You're posts helped to keep that Camaro fire burning inside me that I've had since my first Camaro. I look forward..no, I anxiously await that day that I own one again.

I had a rented one a few months back for a couple of days down in Florida, and it was a VR SS 'vert. MAN, that was AWWWESSSSSSOMMME!!!!! Love that friggin' car. The power, the handling, the ride...Ha! getting permagrin...got that sucker to buck-fifty...smooth as silk.

Again, thanks for the welcome and look forward to making some new friends!

If it's RWD...it may be my new second-favorite Chevy.
