How the HELL have I missed this friggn thread? Smart Line, ya should have knocked me over the head. I'm in, way in! Will contact Blackhawk6, Ordieman, etc to see if we can help pull the # of participants up. After just driving the Rolex course at Daytona, i'm all about getting some more seat time. They ran 4 - 30 minute sessions there. We only ran 2 of them! You need idle time to cool the cars, jmho. Transmission temps run up pretty quick not to mention "brake temps" on a road course.
Start getting a head count on set date. 18 is ideal but figure 12 to be safe. 6 is worse case scenerio, plenty of track time but who can afford it? Hot laps 9am to 4:30pm = 7.5 hours. Take a 30 minute brake for lunch, gives eveyone a chance to talk out issues. That leaves you 7 hours. Do same as Daytona, but run 3 - 30 minute sessions(x2). 2 sessions prior to lunch (12:30pm to 1 pm). Repeat same set up for afternoon. Yes, that would leave an hour, but have a 5 minute buffer between each group to get on and off track.
Session A
Group 1 9am-9:30am
Group 2 9:35am - 10:10am
Group 3 10:10am - 10:45am

Session B
Group 1 10:45am - 11:20am
Group 2 11:20am - 11:55am
Group 3 11:55am - 12:30pm

**LUNCH - 12:30pm to 1pm **

Session C
Group 1 1pm - 1:35pm
Group 2 1:35pm - 2:10pm
Group 3 2:10pm - 2:45pm

Session D
Group 1 2:45pm - 3:20pm
Group 2 3:20pm - 3:55pm
Group 3 3:55pm - 4:30pm

Just a suggestion. Have to have a rough idea on what to expect. Our 1st runs at Daytona were delayed for 35 minutes due to fog and shortened to only 20 minutes.

If we can get it under $300.00 I may be able to make it, have to check the Wife's schedule first.

The only way it will be under 300 would be if we had more than 20 people. don't think that's going to happen as people won't commit unless they know exactly how much they'll have to pay
