I agree with Punk_rider, the test car does look to have some differences with its hood compared to the rendering. The extractor vents do look a little different and it sure looks like there's a mailslot intake in front of the extractor vents.

Here are a couple pics to illustrate what I mean (make sure you expand them to full size to get a better view):

that's exactly how I see it!!! We're one the same page

Besides, on the spy pics, we can clearly see 8 extracting vents as the rendering only shows 4

If that isn't the Z28 hood then someone needs to make it because that thing looks wicked with that front end

Its a little busy IMO with all of those vents and with the split in the middle of the hood. How are the stripes going to mesh with that? And what's a real z28 without hood stripes?
I also agree that the current eggcrate grille (which I like on the '10 camaro) looks busy with the new z's bumper treatment.

Overall the design has mean intentions but it needs cleaning with the busy grille and hood vents.

I guess I won't have a real Z/28 because I prefer not to have stripes.

But I agree that some can't live without them, so I'd be shocked if some type of stripe or accent package wasn't made available.

These renderings are neat for speculation and a great example of skilled photoshop work...

but please....stop. Where are some of these artists getting their ideas from, and why are these publications slapping the "Z28" logo on them?
