Hood got in today. Looks great. No pics because I didn't have a second set of hands. Just looked real quick with the driver to make sure there was no damage.

Monday the spoiler gets here and I'm on the fence about getting some ACS rocker extensions to go behind the rear tires.

So in the next couple of weeks I will have available for sale the following...

1) Stock 1LE hood from a black car. Full gloss black underneath and the satin wrap on top. The hood is in perfect condition.

2) Stock 1LE rear spoiler. Painted satin "Smoke Gray" from the factory. Its really just an SS spoiler but it's the special 1LE paint. Perfect condition. SOLD

3) Stock Convertible spoiler Gloss Black (no antenna) in perfect condition. SALE PENDING

I haven't even taken any photos yet but they are exactly as described. I will take pics and set prices after I pull them off. In the mean time if anyone is interested please contact me via pm.

Well I broke the news to the wife about the hood and spoiler. There was a look of shock, an "Oh My GOD!" and a "You just can't leave anything stock. Can you?!?!?!?"

I laughed and told her she needed to help me fit it before I sent it to the painter... LMAO!

So I temp fit the hood of looks good. It's kinda hard to get excited being that it is gray primer. Fitment is about 90%. I'm comfortable with it being able to fit like stock and look right. I just got tired of messing with it when I know it is just coming off in an hour.

As you can see by the last pic without the screen for the opening you can see the radiator cap pretty well. It gives you an idea where the opening is though.

Over all as it sits unfinished I give it an 8/10 pretty sure once it's painted and installed properly it will move up to a 10/10.

I compared the fit to the stocker after I put it back on. It's pretty obvious that they molded a stock hood and then modified it. The fit once adjusted should be the same. I did happen to weigh it, 38lbs I think that's 10 lbs or so heavier than the stocker. That's the one unfortunate thing unless you go Carbon Fiber and spend a fortune swapping hoods will add weight.

I think the pros out weigh the cons though with this hood.

Hood and spoiler are at the body shop. Should have them back by Friday.

Plan to do the headers and UDP Monday. Wednesday I will have the X pipe welded in. Hope to be tuned by the week end.

Well the latest... got tuned today by Jeremy Formato. First of he's a solid guy that knows his stuff. Pleasure to deal with he's my tuner now.

The car has Pfadt LT's, ADM race intake, Vmax ported TB and tune. She put down 432/422. Call me more than pleased.

The hood and spoiler are hopefully going to be here tomorrow and installed Friday morning. I leave for the track in St Augustine this weekend. The weather has been holding my buddy at the body shop up.

The UDP never got installed because the installation tool is on backorder. My universal installation tool really wouldn't have worked right. So when that comes in I'll have another 5HP or so.

Tires will have to be replace next month at the latest. Thinking Michelin PSS.

Well the track was fun. I didn't realize it was going to be a 1/2 day. Just when it started to warm up and the tires started to grab it was over. I ended up shaving roughly 6 second off of my original time. That was really because of grip more than technique. I was just getting better with the technique when it was over.

I had a blast and didn't wreck so it was all good. I need to find a closer spot to run though.

Finishing up a Pedders Permagrin kit "Black Edition"...

I bought one of the last Pedders rear 32mm Z bars that Summit Racing had. I've stripped it and will paint it black over the weekend. I decided to grab some Whiteline radius bushings and cradle bushings. The Whiteline Bushings are black. So there you have the "Black Edition".

I know the Whiteline bushings may be a touch softer than the Pedders but they made/make them for Pedders and they were about a third of the price and the right color. So there you go.

I'll have pics after I paint the bar and I plan on getting them all installed when I get some new Pilot Super Sports installed on Monday.
