IMO your right, the sunroof isn't my favorite part about the car. As for the t-tops. They aren't going to be offered on this car due to the fact that it will cause flex in the overall frame of the car. It may be hard to dig up the info someone else posted about it, but use the search feature at the top and try to find it. If someone else posts a link or gives their more detailed opinion then bravo!

Oh, and welcome to the site. I'm sure you'll love it here

I've commented on it several times, in several threads. I've gotten better at giving shorter answers. The Camaro is heavy because it is stiff. It is stiff because of things like its roof rails. To get the same stiffness without them requires more weight and/or more cost.

If T-tops are a must, my favourite bit of advice is get a sawsall and a few extra blades.

so being reasonable, as much as GM wants to get the word out as fast as possible, internal workings are slower at GM. .
Translation: It's unofficially confirmed.

sorry, man, but that's not going to happen... maybe between now and the start of the 2011 model year, you can make thread after thread and rally the troops with you... but this is not going to change before the 2010 model year... changing the RS package to allow for polished wheels and adding the blues to the SS package availability is easy... just a matter of painting the car a color that is already available and putting wheels on it that are also available... but changing the available colors to add a color that hasn't even been beta tested on the car yet? that's a WHOLE different story.

bottom line: start threads and polls now, rally the troops to support your cause, send PMs and emails and hope that the 2011 model year provides something for you... since there's also several upgrades planned for the 2011 model year, anyway.
