Probably most of them do sell other models now, so they do not care one way or the other if the big three stay afloat. So lets hear a little noise out there.....
On the contrary, now is the perfect time to buy a car, there are deals everywhere!! You can get a very low miliage (under 10,000) G8 GT for only $24,000 in Austin!!! The G8 GT is an Awesome car.

geez try and be a little optimistic. Why are they worse than previously thought? They're still hangin' on, they got government loans and hopefully some re-structuring/streamlining will go a long way into their long-term survival. ALL car companies are hurting...not just Detroit. Shit happens, it's happened before and it'll happen again. We will not be living in caves anytime soon...no need to spread more doom and gloom on here.

If you can afford a Camaro...great. If you can't...you have the chance to cancel your order or wait until the sky is blue again and not falling.

SUPPORT THE ECONOMY...BUY A CAMARO!

If my company can make it through Spring 2009, I'll be in good shape. If not, I'll be out of a job and forced to cancel my order. Such is life.

I choose not to get worked up over it, but it is always in the back of my mind.

If I can't get a decent offer on my current car and sell it w/out too much of a loss, I'll have to cancel my order as well. So far, I haven't had many inquiries, despite the great condition it's in. If this continues well into next month, then I'll start getting more concerned. D*mn recession!

If I was real concerned about losing my job, the last thing I would do is order a new car. That is just me.

No it won't. GM's taking care of Buick as a "Core Brand". Pontiac is being shrunk to just one or two cars.
Easy on the doom-and-gloom, bud -- there's still lots of good things going on!

We knew dealers were gonna close from GM restructuring plan. Somethings gotto give in order for GM to start cutting costs.

So have you already contacted your dealer or are you still trying to decide what to do.

Why would GM dealers close and open as a competitor? All of the car companies are doing terrible, I doubt if a GM dealer closes it will open as anything. I would assume those dealers are SOL and have to close the doors. It'll be a rough year but everything should work out. I was able to sell my F-150 last week.

nope, Buick sells way too many cars overseas (like in China) to just be dropped.
