Do you drive with these lights on or do you just turn them on every now and then for show?

Glad you like!

The footwell lights are connected to the dome light, so only on when the door is opened or you put the dome light on (not on when driving unless you put the dome on). The cup holder lights are conneted to the ABL lighting, so when your headlights or Halo's are on, it's on. It's not bright at all and are zero distraction.

From the pictures, it looks like the LED light is escaping from all sides (outside) of the 'CAMARO' plate?

Did my cupholders lights for less than $10 I think. Go to pep boys, advance, or wal-mart. Find those little stick on led spot lights that plug into a cigarrette lighter.

Cut the end off of that. T-tap into your traction control button. Complete.

There are a few threads here. Think I searched for cup holder lighting.

Took about 20 minutes.

Ah, disregard this message...the video confirmed my question. That's not the 'look' I'm looking for, but I'm pretty confident I can address the scattered lighting. My parts will be here next week and I'll post pix. Thanks!

To keep the LED light from escaping you can mount the LED's on the cup holder cover. (pointing down)
If you look at the DYI thread someone did that. Mine looks like it escaping but actually I have another LED above the front tray (in front of the shifter)

cheers!

Yea, good point. It just depends what effect you are looking to get.
