I think the Nickey Stinger 2 hood (the one with no point) is thee ABSOLUTELY BEST LOOKING hood there is for the 5th Gen!!! It has the hood scoop, but its not to much.....just enough! I found one on sale for $1050 but shipping is $500 . My "big money" mod is going to be a new hood. I like the look of a hood scoop (plus bringing in cooler outside is good), but I don't like BIG over-the-top scoops. Just my opinion .

Looks like from the pics they take a stock hood and tweak it. Am I correct in my thinking? |

Personally I prefer the RK Sport Ram Air hood.

While we modeled off of a OE hood, the MPD1 hoods are all new fiberglass top and bottom. Our latch, hinge and strut bracket plates, and the mesh in the openings are all epoxy primed steel. |

I researched hoods for over a year and decided the MPD-1 Z-force was exactly what I wanted, especially after hearing about all the positive reviews from owners and installers.
Have had one on order for a while and getting VERY excited to get it here, installed and painted!!! Will post pics ASAP after its installed. Also got the prepainted rear spoiler from Eric, its already here and installed, amazing quality and paint match dead on to my RJT finish.

took us about 20 min to install a Seibon hood, fits well IMO.

Erics hood looks good but I hate the 2 openings. Just cover the 1 on the frontend. IMHO
I love my ACS hood! But u need other things

Not a fan of the double scoop. If it were me I would fill in the mailslot and have one scoop.
