Question Which CAI is better?

Thinking on the high heat of South TX and the horsepower added. Which CAI would be better?

You should take off "is the one I use" part. CAI seems to be better but my car came with a cold air intake. In the future I plan to get CAI

I run a k&n real carbon fiber unit. As good as all the rest power wise PLUS the look is much nicer imho.

Roto Fab looks like the upgraded factory Z/28 intake!!
Plus it is one of the better performance cai out there.

Correct me if I am wrong but the test in the article was done on a SS not a ZL1.

Question

I guess if its good for he SS should be good for the ZL1. I see on that testing that the best one without tuning is the CAI, but also see that the great majority of ZL1 users went with the RotoBlast maybe because of the looks I guess

One thing I like about the CAI unit, they do their dyno pulls with the hood closed. It makes a huge differance in horse power. Most of the other companies like K&N do it with the hood open.

Is there are any CAI for the ZL1 that has the HP gain but without the high whining noise?

I believe that would be an oxymoron my friend.

Good luck with your search.
