exterior and interior aftermarket lighting!
Ok...i know alot of people think the neons are a dumb idea for the Camaro...i like them on ANY sports car and i wanted to see what others thought as a whole using a poll...i never had the exterior(underbody) lights but my car now has the interior(footwell) lighting and i love it!
ok heres pics of my Z with the neon light in the footwell...i love it and doubt the gm footwell ambient lightning will even come close! the pics look shitty but i dont know why...i took them with a really good digital camera! also it would look alot better glow wise if i didnt have a telephone pole with a street light glaring down on my car... you can only see the neon tube if you really get down and look under the dash...my passenger side broke cuz the double sided tape gave out and i never got around to fixing it and eventually one of my friends broke it with his foot...all i had to do was get new tape or velcro...but imma lazy bastard! =( but when both of them worked it looked freaking awesome!!! i also have a blue led light in my dome light...i have the 2 bright white lights up top closer to the front of the roof for when i need a bright light...im so doing this to my camaro!

Ok, enough is enough...Sorry!
If you know you are going to post...Take better pictures! I apologize. I just needed to get that out. I can't make a decision because of the quality. Sorry Nightmare, it is not you. This issue is all over the sight...I am done. Off my chest. Back on point. No, I do not like it.

No option for liking the Underbody glow, but not the footwell? I just don't get why I would need/want my feet illuminated.
Regardless of what anyone else says though, I think the Camaro would look great gliding along with a glow emanating from underneath.

Ok maybe for show purposes would underbody glow be alright, but for practical purposes, neither interior or exterior would look good.

i like them and i will be putting led's throughout the interior and trunk, i also like underglow especially if they spread out and completely cover under the car with no gaps

I don't like neon lighting at all especially in the car. It's simply too bright. At night I want something that is a soft glow, not something that completely kills your night vision if you look at it.

WARNING: MY OPINION IS AS FOLLOWS. IF ANYBODY GETS THIER FEELINGS HURT BY MY OPINION, SORRY. IF YOU GET OFFENDED BY A PERSONS OPINION, PLEASE DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER.
Anybody can hook up some cheap lighting. Neon or LED lights all over the place scream "I'm cheap and cant afford to really customize my ride so I take the easy way out!". As for only being when you show the car, when I bring my show trucks to a show, my trucks paint, stance, wheels, and body mods are what make it TRULY one of a kind. Neons and LEDs are the JOKE of the show scene. I know more people that laugh when they see them than people that actually like them. Like I said before, a little accent lighting can be cool but like chrome, it CAN be over done. Plain and simple though, underbody lighting and a bunch of lights inside are for the rookies. But its your car and to each his own. |

ofcourse...i might throw the lights on while driving occasionally but not on the regular...its mainly for when my car is parked...not necessarily a real deal auto show but even the group gatherings in local parking lots at night and shit...

I'm going to be putting the foot-well lighting in...very dim, but there. It'll be my "ambient lighting."
I absolutely despise underbody glow on any car, though. hateithateithateit. |
