I installed both my upgraded Trailing Arms and Toe Rods with only hand tools. I had no issues and the install was str8 forward.

I struggled with a cheap puller. I think there is a bushing removal tool that is for sale somewhere. Maybe bmr or slp sells it. Its like $40 but worth every penny

Take a prybar with an angle at the end, use the head of the bolt on the control arm, and put a socket between the bushing and the pry bar, and push the bushing right out.
It will take longer to get the tools in your hand than it will to push the bushing out. |

I did my hole pedders upgrade with hand tools. That was my old ride. Need some bushings for this ride. The rest is pretty good.

They reach. You probably need to move the suspension around to get it to line back up.

I want to thank everyone who contributed and helped me through this thread. Finally finished the trailing arm install earlier today. Did a few hard launches and can definitely tell they made a difference. Thanks for the help guys.
If anyone else needs any help, I'll gladly return the favor by helping anyone know that I know how to do it. Feel free to pm me as well |
