I wouldn't try to "push" her on getting a Camaro unless she really wants one to begin with. If she has regrets later for practacality reasons (ie kid car seats etc.) you're going to be the one she will blame!

Nothing wrong with being a two Camaro family ... Also getting kids out of the back isn't all that difficult, move seat up, put kid in back, move seat back ... Takes about 90 seconds, also don't make it a habit of giving kids a drink just to shut them up, it's a bad habit to start IMO ...

I say no way. U already have an as in the fam. Trust me it isn't that practical for a family. I love the fact we got my wife a new traverse with loads of room and nice power for such a big suv. She is very happy with it and so am I for days we all go shopping or for long drives to visit the in laws.

Get one of the new PPV Caprices...different and 400 hp. A four door Camaro.

And the Equinox is awesome in both mpg and the sliding rear seat for those rear facing car seats.

Have to agree with the other posters, Mike... stay away from a second Camaro if you do have kids or plan on having kids. You still have yours (I plan on keeping mine as long as I can, if not forever). However, the BEST bang for your buck (and I know I will get just thrashed for saying it) is Kia.

If we are all being honest here... we are all Camaro lovers who already have one... I am about your point as well. A family in the next 2-3 years. Kia offers a 32 MPG Cross over (not sure if it is the sportage or the lower model) and it comes in around 19-20k stock with an Auto transmission. 10 year, 100 mile warranty.... hard to beat for 20k with 5 spacious seats and trunk space in the back.

Trust me... if you love her, show some tough love lol. A stroller package will be a joy to stuff in the back of that trunk and back seats.

....unless of course money is not a problem. Then you should get a Tahoe and we shouldn't even be discussing this.

You wont get bashed, my fiance drive a 2011 Loaded (Leather/Nav/BT/Premium Sound/19"Rims etc..) Kia Optima SX and that thing is sick!!!! Luxury and Efficiency all in one, and it really is a beautiful car. Not to mention it still moves pretty will, I think she gets around 280hp and its turbo'd.. OTD Cost thru USAA was 27,230k in January this year.

You honestly cannot beat it in my opinion and it comes with an awesome warranty....There is not even a question in my mind.....

IF I had a kid or two to put in car seats and I wanted sporty, I'd get the mazda RX8 with those cool suicide doors. It's a 4 door that looks like a 2 door and it's pretty sporty looking. Since there's already a Camaro in the family and all...

The Camaro is a great daily driver and an occasional kid car... but for an everyday kid car, I'd be looking for a 4 door or SUV.

G8 GT for sure! If you have the funds get a CTS-V Wagon! Those are my two picks.

I don't know if its been said yet, but I vote a CTS-V. The epitome of badassery.

Edit: It's been said.
