The 1LE hood wrap has its purpose, it's not just there for looks. Hood wrap Camaro are identifiable by the wrap and to reduce glare at the track.

This isn't summit white...But I took the wrap of, nonetheless...like the clean, Z/28-esque look better...and this will be slightly easier to keep clean and shiny. But I could probably go either way if it was paint, or something....

Looking at yours, I am thinking of removing chrome strip in front and the SS... Yours looks real good, how long did it take to remove the SS.

I think the non-RS do not have the chrome strip up front

Bingo! Glad I went with OE wheels...they're the polished versions, too...look great!...but it'll throw a discerning enthusiast through a loop....

It's a '14...with red calipers, but no hood wrap (1LE, maybe?)...with '10-'11 SS polished wheels on an RS car (huh?!?)

Little bit of a mutt.

Correct - no chrome on non-RS equipped cars.

As I understand it...the chrome piece is installed in holes in the fascia...so if it's removed, there could be un-intended consequences. At least on my silver car, I don't notice it that much, nor hate it as much as I used to...so to be honest, I haven't looked into removal as closely as I thought I would....

Sorry you feel that way? Not sure why you had to share that here...

I really like the new look, personally! Looks sleek, fast...tight.

They described the first few model years as "svelte"...and I think the refresh enhanced that character trait!

The only thing I think I could say I want back are the quad-tail lights...but even that; the more times I see the new LED tail lights glowing at night....the less I miss the old ones.

The front isn't as bad in the dark colors. Personally feel the chrome lip is a little cheesy.
Can't get over the taillights though maybe not bad if they were blacked out.

The one thing I will give it. Hood vents are nice
