Brake Peddle Postion (Auto Trans Only)

Has anyone else noticed that the brake peddle on the auto trans is too close to the gas peddle?.
I have found that sometimes when I have my foot on the gas peddle, that it is bumping against the brake peddle.
And YES I do wear a wide shoe, but NOT that wide.
Just asking.

Yeah just you. Although one time I was sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, moving once every 5 minutes and switched feet cause my right one got tired. I'm not used to using my left foot, so I accidently floored the gas instead of the break. It was pretty close, and everyone was looking over cause the engine revved so loudly and the car bucked 2 inches from someones car infront of me.

Never noticed a problem. I noticed it is close, but I like it a bit close so I just have to swivel me foot to brake instead of moving my whole foot over. But I never felt it was too close nor have I ever bumped accidentally it while using the accelerator.

I wear size 13 work boots, and the lip on the soles of the boots get caught on the brake pedal constantly...
