That corrected 14.49 needs to be compared to your first run (corrected) as well to be fair.....just sayin!

Not sure what all mags got, but MT got the 14.2 with a manual and a 14.4 with the auto (I think!)

Yes just pull straight up.

I was afraid to start pulling on mine. Where did you get that new breather and the fitting?

I got the Filter from AutoZone.

I'm about to order a catch can from Rx, and he recommended plugging the breather assembly instead of using the Vararam breather, and then using the breather cap they provide for the oil cap.

I'm going to get the catch can next so I will be plugging that hole and using there breather.

I like your solution though and am anxious to hear more.

I hope that will answer your questions.

Ok had a rain storm today during the Tallahassee cruise. And just asking, had water on top of the intake around the filter. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Don't need my car hydrolocked. I should have taken Pic's.

This worries me alot. My Car is a daily driver and it rains alot here. If this is the case I may need to return my intake. Unless there is a solution. Maybe like Injen has done, fabric use some 3m water repelant spray? Place the fabric on top of filter. I could easly hydrolock this car.

We wont have rain for a few days. When we do I will check mine. What is the return policy for Vararam? I am not so fast to return the intake. Though I dont want $336.00 to hydrolock my car and cost me $4 grand to replace the engine.

I did ask the question about water injestion before making my decision. I was told it is not a problem with this intake. Now to find two people say they had water by the filter makes me nervous. I will give a few rainy days and test out. Just need to know what the return policy is as well rain will not be around for about a week or so. Go Figure....

I ran a 14.3, 14.1 corrected bone stock. With a better driver a stock V6 manual could run 13.9 with a near perfect launch and shifting.

COOL.

The few times I raced there were only SS's at the track, and I never got a chance to drag my Camaro LS when I had it. Nice to see some good stock V6 times!

Bone stock uncorrected for my car with auto/2.73 gears is 14.267@98.46. Corrected it's 14.045@100.044.

Go get that 13" time slip!

Well its offical I hate Vararam!!!!... I get up to speed to fast now!!!! I love the grumble sound although it only happens when I accelerate. So now its easy to accelerate to 40 thus I dont get to hear the cool exhaust note. Bahhhh... I want my cake and would like to eat it tooo.... Man I know but dyno aint worth 2 cents... though it is real fun to drive and sounds really nice. Just a low sounding when accelerating... nice.

LOL, that's the only problem. The faster your car is, the less fun you can have (legally) 'cause you'll blow past the speed limit in no time
