Baltimore X2
Here are some pics I took at the Baltimore Auto Show as well as a video of the "product specialist's" presentation. Needless to say he really didn't say anything we didn't already know and really had a lot less info than we have around here.
As with the other auto shows all I ever heard were very positive things regarding the car and a whole lot of "How much is it?" and "When can I buy one?" I heard the spokesman say "It'll be priced with the Mustang GT" more times than I could count. Because I don't know how to embed videos, here's the link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=NOJThqR1eUM PS- Big thanks to Fbodfather for the heads up on the silver coupe being there...it was easily the highlight of the show (as well as my life).

The link or whatever doesn't quite work. But I found the video anyway. Most important info is that he said we will get information regarding engines and packages (SS, RS, and/or Z28) in 4-6 months. And that it will be on sale no later than March.

This is the quote I liked since people have been speculating on engines..
"This car will come with the option of an environ. friendly v6 or a VERY POWERFUL V-8!!!!!" Music to my ears.....

Haha, those are the phrases that jumped out at me too.
BTW, when any of ya'll have been to auto shows, have ya'll had a very strong desire to correct any wrong information you hear being stated? I kept hearing random people say things that were completely wrong and I had to fight to keep quiet.

But what about the gas cap? And those totally useless concept mirrors????? And the.....And the.......AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Actually, I can't wait. The retro look, clean bold edges, yessir!! Been waiting for this car since I couldn't afford a decent 1st gen anymore. I certainly hope an after market emerges with body kits, and light packages, for all those 18-28 year old tuners out there who want to put idiotic wing spoilers and huge "bumblebees in heat" mufflers on on them. I guess "grandpas" like me arent supposed to drive fast or burn out a few tires in a mean looking car without all the joker body attachments. Then everyone will be happy. the only thing I hope is that they can run on fuel created from white and brown rice. PS- Don't mean to sound like an A$$, but you don't have to be pre- pubescent to enjoy a fast car. Just remember - growing old is mandatory, but growing up is not. |

I'm a "young 'un" at 23 and I want this car to be as retro as possible. No silly body kits or ligths under it or ridicolous size wings on it. It's pretty enough as it is
