Anyone got their insurance bill for their ZL1?
Just wondering if anyone that traded in or sold/still have a 2010/11/12 Camaro, what your insurance premium change happened to be? Rough percentage is fine.
Just trying to get an idea what kind of budgeting I would be looking at ballpark-ish when I place an order for the 'vert.

All I can tell you is went to State Farm to inquire about what it would cost for full coverage on mine. They didnt even have a listing for the ZL1 in their system so they made a phone call to look into it and I was told it would be the same rate as a SS would be. The car seems to fly under the insurance radar. They were only concerned that it wasnt a covette. My insurance works out to be about $75 a month for full coverage and used a second car under 2000 miles a year

I think they will figure it out soon enough and adjust their rates...once they get that it is a Supercharged 580HP Camaro...

Yeah they will catch on eventually but I was even honest and told them all about the car and its specs. I even called Hagerty trying to get really cheap insurance and surprisingly they will insure a ZL1 but I couldnt get it because my daily driver isnt 2007 or newer. So people should look into them as a option too becasue they insure on the stated value of the car not by blue book

I was able to ask my provider in December...didn't change between then and now. I went from 380-something/six months for just the Cobalt, to 600/six months for both cars. Full coverage...I was pleasantly surprised! |

just don't have an at fault accident with them. that only deals with the rate. the service side is awesome after the accident. lol. speaking from personal experience.
