I only test drove 2010 and 2011's so my ability to compare them to my 2012 is limited. It definitely has less understeer than the FE3. Honestly, I am stunned at how good the suspension is on my SS. I live in mountains so I am constantly hitting curves and I quickly came to the conclusion that I don't have the balls to push this car to its cornering limits. I could find the limits on my previous 328i and G35 (tire squeal), but this car seems to stay in total control at the limit of my confidence level. Perhaps a HPDE day will help me learn how to push the car a bit more. Plus, I love the 100 foot long burnout with traction control off!

Well, Pedders FE4 is beginning.
Pedders XA coil-overs showed up today. Front radius bush inserts installed, rear cradle bush inserts installed, sways...done. Would all that be left to do is the new FE4 rear LCA's and a new stiffer sway to replace the stock 2012 one? |
